Crazy Water to Start Weekday Lunch Service on Jan. 30

The lunch menu at this Walker’s Point resto includes everything from a burger to duck salad to a 6-ounce filet.

Your new lunch spot in Walker’s Point is served. Crazy Water (839 S. Second St., 414-645-2606) introduces lunch service next week! Hours are Mon-Fri 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The food choices are a little casual, a little fancier.

Owner Peggy Magister leads off the menu with a few snacks, like baked bluepoint oysters with bacon, spinach and Mornay sauce. Salads include jumbo shrimp with heart of palm, grapefruit, avocado and Bibb lettuce with passion fruit vinaigrette. Under “sandwiches,” she’s got fried chicken with Korean BBQ sauce, spicy mayo and pickled vegetables; braised short ribs with Gruyere fondue and arugula; a sausage sandwich of the day; and falafel with cumin yogurt, hummus and feta. Finally, entrées – salmon Benedict with pork belly and roasted poblano hollandaise; a 6-ounce petite filet with molasses BBQ, Portobello mushroom, fries, blue cheese and dipping sauce; crazy shrimp with chorizo, Asian BBQ, jasmine rice and jalapeno corn muffins.
