Adam Pawlak, the chef known for whipping up decadent carb creations at Egg & Flour Pasta Bar, has a new teaching gig at Milwaukee Public Market (400 N. Water St.).
His classes will cover, among other topics, hand-cut pasta, classic vegetarian staples, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s recipe for beef Wellington. Pawlak, as you might recall, was a contestant on season 19 of Ramsay’s TV show, “Hell’s Kitchen.” He also operates the two locations of his pasta emporium – at the East Side’s Crossroads Collective and in Bay View.
The two-hour, demo-style classes take place March 24, March 29, April 19, April 27, May 17 and May 26 (5:30-7:30 p.m.). They’ll be held in the market’s second-level Madame Kuony Kitchen. Each class will be followed by a Q&A. The market recommends early registration – classes sizes are limited “to offer a more intimate setting with Chef Pawlak.” Click here for more deets on classes and to register.
