Christian Yelich Is Hosting a Charity Concert With an Exciting Lineup

The event will support veterans and the Milwaukee community.

Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich and his family will host an event this summer that will feature live music, a culinary experience, sponsor activations and special guests in support of veterans and the Milwaukee community.

Christian Yelich’s Home Plate Charity Concert will take place at The Pabst Theater on July 25. The event’s headliner will be American Idol winner and country singer Scotty McCreery. The evening will also include performances by Milwaukee’s own Charlie Berens and DJ Shawna, along with alt-rock band The Nicotine Dolls.

Adam Pawlak of Egg & Flour Pasta Bar, known for his appearances on Hell’s Kitchen and Super Chef Grudge Match, will host a culinary experience for VIP attendees.

The event will support the efforts of Team Red, White & Blue, the Brewers Community Foundation and Visit Milwaukee.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

Team Red, White & Blue is an organization for veterans and service members who seek improved physical or mental health through a supportive community. It combines in-person and app experiences, offering more than 17,000 annual opportunities to build a healthy lifestyle with a goal of making a difference toward veterans’ well-being.

Yelich’s brother, Cameron, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, inspiring the family’s commitment to military veterans.

“This event is particularly special to us, not just for what it means to Milwaukee but also for the opportunity it presents to give back to those who’ve served our country, like my brother,” Yelich said. “Our family is committed to supporting Team RWB and military veterans, ensuring their sacrifices are recognized and honored. Every donation, every ticket, every sponsorship goes a long way in making a tangible difference in the lives of veterans and our community.”

Yelich, who is in his seventh season with the Brewers and was the 2018 National League MVP, said he and his family also are committed to supporting Visit Milwaukee, which promotes tourism and conventions in the area, and in providing ongoing support for the Brewers Community Foundation, the team’s charitable arm. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday and can be purchased online.
