Cafe at the Plaza Debuts Summer Evening Menu

The Plaza Hotel restaurant is also partnering with radio station 88Nine for its music series in the courtyard.

Café at the Plaza recently reopened after a six-week renovation (which included upgrades to the kitchen and the “upper café”). The latest news from the Plaza Hotel is the addition of a summer evening menu (served Thurs-Sat, 5-9 p.m.) and acoustic music series. Menu service starts this Thursday, June 18. A roster of light plates includes cheese and meat boards; poutine; “Juicy Lucy” sliders; mushroom crostini; sprouted grain flatbread with prosciutto, goat cheese and a sunny-side-up egg; and seared scallops with smashed plantains, caramelized pineapple, chimichurri and avocado puree ($7-$19). The music series runs Friday and Saturday nights (6-9 p.m.) in the courtyard, starting June 19.  (1007 N. Cass St., 414-272-0515)
