Drink Wisconsinbly Pub will serve Wisco beer and cocktails and a menu inspired by the state's bars and supper clubs.

Shuttered no more. Blue Jacket Bar (135 E. National Ave.) may have closed last summer. But former owner Laura van Heijningen hasn’t given up on the Walker’s Point building. She’s part of the team behind its replacement, Drink Wisconsinbly Bar, which is also the name of a local lifestyle brand. Her partners are DW (Drink Wisconsinbly) founder Richard Lorbach and former Moct bar owner Nebi Torbica. According to their press release, the menu – created by Kevin Sloan (chef for Pabst Theater Group) – is a “simple celebration of northern hospitality at its finest.” So along with your old fashioned or Wisconsin craft beer, you will be able to get a burger formed from Wisconsin beef ground in-house. There will also be Wisconsin cheeses and sausages. The bar is slated to open this month.
