This Bites: Restaurant Love Stories

This Bites: Restaurant Love Stories

Local people whose food-related professions overlap with their personal lives. Plus, V-day suggestions and Fat Tuesday doughnuts.

It’s the end of the week and… love is in the air, Fat Tuesday is in the air. What do you do? You listen to This Bites (Fridays, 8 a.m., on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee) for help navigating these monumental events. First up is a story in the February issue of Mil Mag about couples in the local F&B industry who are also couples outside of work. Some really sweet stories here, including the couple who run The Juice Kitchen, two chefs from Goodkind, and the owners of Odd Duck.

That leads us into further romantic topics, namely Valentine’s Day. Kasana Catering is throwing a pretty incredible dinner party for V-day. Read about that, Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras eats and pazcki– Polish jelly-filled doughnuts traditionally eaten on Shrove Tuesday (the day that precedes Ash Wednesday).
