Draft & Vessel (4417 N. Oakland Ave.) hosts a battle of the breweries at 7 p.m. Your responsibility is to judge 14 small pours from Vintage and Lakefront and rate them. Good luck.
Regano’s Roman Coin (1004 E. Brady St.) hosts a release party for Lakefront Lager. Get there at 7 p.m. to try the crisp brew.
Friday, Jan. 25
New Belgium Brewing hands out samples at Ray’s Wine & Spirits (8930 W. North Ave.) at 3:30 p.m. The fun moves upstairs to the Growler Gallery for a tapping later in the day.
Third Space hands out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 26
Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) celebrates its Ice Bear Baltic Porter in style, starting at noon. The theme is 1980s après ski. So wear your worst Oakleys, fluorescent ski suits and ski boots, and pretend you’ve got a big race on the K-12. You’ll be rewarded for you cheesiness with barrel-aged versions of Ice Bear and a tapping of Mystic Knot Barrel-Aged Irish Coffee Stout.
Eagle Park Brewing (823 E. Hamilton St.) releases four packs of Bowie’s Space Suit NEIPA at 11 a.m.
The Winter Brews Fest comes to the Oak Creek Community Center (8580 S. Howell Ave.) from 5 to 11 p.m. Tickets are just $25 at the door ($20 in advance) and include access to more than 50 beers and ciders and a concert by The Crisis at 8 p.m.
Untapped Tours hosts another 3-1/2 hour Riverwest Brewery Tour this weekend. The fun starts at 1:15 p.m. at Company Brewing (735 E. Center St.), heads to (Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.), Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.), Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) and back to Company Brewing. For $55 you get two small pours at each stop, a tour of each brewery, and a ride.
The Explorium Brewpub (5300 S. 76th St.) is releasing three beers to mark its second anniversary. Starting at 11 a.m., Explorium will have its first canned beers available with Lost in the Sauce V1 NEIPA and Damn! That’s Good! Imperial IPA. There will also be 750mL bottles of Explorium’s barrel-aged 2nd Anniversary Stout.

Neenah standout Lion’s Tail Brewing is bringing a few of its beers to The Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) at 4 p.m. Juice Cloud IPA is one of the brews on the menu. I recommend trying it.
