Girls Pint Out hosts its kickoff meeting at Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) from 6 to 9 p.m. Try a few beers and see what the women’s group has going on in 2019.
The Uber Tap Room (1048 N. Old World Third St.) is pairing four cheeses with four Point Brewery beers. Tasting starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $15.
Wednesday, Jan. 16
Solemn Oath takes over the taps at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) at 5 p.m.
Coffee beers are the focus at the weekly meeting of the Milwaukee Beer Society at Best Place (901 W. Juneau Ave.). Get there at 6 p.m. to taste a few.
Milwaukee Brewing (1128 N. 9th St.) hosts its monthly Crate Club from 5 to 8 p.m. But a $5 crate and fill it with a mix and match of 20 MKE Brewing bottles for just $15.
Thursday, Jan. 17
The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) is tapping some gems, including a couple of barrel-aged brews, from Raised Grain Brewing from 6 to 9 p.m.
Biloba Brewing takes over a few of the taps at Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) from 5 to 9 p.m. Brewer Gordon Lane will be there to discuss his fine brews.
Draft & Vessel (4417 N. Oakland Ave.) releases Palladius Pale Ale. The brew is the creation of Nate Fakler, founder of Faklandia Brewing and two-time winner of the New Barons Brewing Cooperative’s homebrew competition.
Boerner Brewtanicals takes place at Boerner Botatanical Gardens (9400 Boerner Dr., Hales Corners) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Component Brewing is bringing a few of their well-made beers and telling their story. Cost is $15.
Fair State Cooperative is bringing a few of its beers to Three Cellars (N72 W13400 W. Lund Ln. Menomonee Falls) from 5 to 8 p.m. Learn about Fair State and try its beers. Sound good?
Friday, Jan. 18
The highlight of the beer week is easily the fourth anniversary party at The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.). The amazing tap list includes 2018 Goose Island Vanilla Bourbon County Stout, Toppling Goliath King Sue Imperial IPA, Revolution Brewing Café Deth Barrel-Aged Coffee Stout, and the best beer I tried in 2018, Revolution Vanilla Deth Barrel Aged Stout. Oddside Ales is coming to The Rumpus Room (1030 N. Water St.) at 4 p.m. They’re bringing a few rarities, but the big news is that with each flight you get free bacon. Yep, bacon. I recommend pairing it with Rye Hipster Brunch Stout, a tasty beer made with coffee, maple syrup and bacon.

Sample brews from Goose Island at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 20
The Sugar Maple Brewery Series highlights Third Space from 4 to 6 p.m. Try a few Third Space beers, including some barrel-aged brews, and talk to the guys behind the operation.
