Monday, April 2
Happy Brewers Opening Day (aka: Milwaukee Mardi Gras)! If you’re not headed to Miller Park to watch the Brewers thump the St. Louis Cardinals, check with your favorite brewery or bar to see what they have in store.
Wednesday, April 4
Raised Grain Brewing (2244 W. Bluemound Rd.) releases its Spring City Saison when the taproom opens at 4 p.m.
Pearl Street Brewery comes to Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) and takes over the taps at 5 p.m.
The Milwaukee Beer Society is hosting a tasting of homebrews at Best Place (901 W. Juneau Ave.) from 6 to 9 p.m.
St. Francis Brewery (3825 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) is tapping Belgian Sunset, a Belgian-style amber made with sweet cherries. It’s the second release in a Belgian-inspired trilogy.
Thursday, April 5
Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S 5th St.) hosts a vegan pop-up at 6 p.m. brought to you Beatrix Foods. No ticket is required, but you must RSVP so they can be sure to bring enough tasty food.
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is pouring samples from Ballast Point and Harpoon at 6 p.m.
Friday, April 6
Sample beers from Milwaukee Brewing, including the delicious new MKE IPA, and Terrapin Beer Company at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m.
Try samples from Solemn Oath at Discount Liquor Waukesha from 4 to 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 7
Congrats to Urban Harvest Brewing on its two-year anniversary. To celebrate, the brewery is releasing a batch of its spring bock and tapping Imperial Chocolate Whiskey Stout. Wicked Urban Grill will have a food truck there to provide a base. The party starts at 1 p.m.
Broken Bat Brewing (231 E. Buffalo St.) celebrates its one-year birthday starting at 11 a.m. The brewery is releasing a limited Chardonnay Barrel-Aged Imperial Farmhouse Ale. They’re also providing free food and giving away two sets of Brewers tickets. Cheers to Broken Bat.
Honeypie (2643 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) has a very special brunch planned and the guest of honor is Michigan’s OddSide Ales. At 10 a.m. they’re tapping the only firkin of Dirty Dank Juice in the state as well as some other OddSide goodies.
At noon, Gathering Place Brewing Company (811 E. Vienna Ave.) releases Kings Alley Alt, a crisp and nutty altbier, and Gegenpress a Dortmund style lager. At 1 p.m., Gathering Place taps a firkin of Kings Alley. All of these are reasons to go.
Indeed Brewing comes to Discount Liquor Milwaukee from noon to 3 p.m.
