16 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Oct. 23-27

Halloween parties abound this week at local breweries and bars. Get those costumes ready.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

Shorty’s Grilled Cheese is coming to Ope! Brewing Company (6751 W. National Ave.) for a beer and grilled cheese pairing from 4 to 8 p.m. For $25 you can pair four grilled cheese varieties with four beers.

Friday, Oct. 25

Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) is throwing a Halloween party. There will be live music from Cripes, a food truck, costume contest, pumpkin carving, and flights of four fall beers.

A Halloween Silent Disco Party is happening at Perspective Brewing Co. (7508 W. Greenfield Ave.) from 5 to 11 p.m. If you’re in costume you get $1 off of each pour.

Vennture Brew Co. (5519 W. North Ave.) is pairing costumes with karaoke at 6 p.m. There will be prizes and drink specials.

Try samples from New Belgium Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Component Brewing Company hands out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 26

MKE Brewing (2335 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) is hosting a 27th Anniversary/Halloween Party. They’ll be releasing Louie’s Resurrection barrel-aged amber ale, tapping a couple of special firkins, hosting a costume contest, and more.

Component Brewing is headed to Busby’s (3475 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) to take over a few of the taps during Fears & Beers. The Halloween party includes a costume contest, scary movies and food.

Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave., Grafton) host its Sahalloween Party from noon to 9 p.m. They’re tapping a single barrel of 2023 TEOTWAWKI: Resurrection, a barrel-aged imperial brown ale made with sweet potatoes, molasses and cinnamon. Sahale is also releasing 2024 Rummin’ with the Devil, a rum barrel-aged Belgian strong ale. There will also be live music and costumes.

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is throwing a Halloween party that includes food, music, a costume contest, and real tattoos…yep.

Foxtown Brewing’s Fall Family Fun Day is happening at Foxtown Station (6209 W. Mequon Rd.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a bounce house, hayrides, and more.

Supermoon Beer Co. (3145 S. Howell Ave.) has a Halloween House Party starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be live music and costumes are encouraged.

Discount Liquor Milwaukee is offering samples from Boulevard Brewing from noon to 3 p.m.

Try samples from Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 3 p.m.

1840 Brewing Company (401 N. Main St., West Bend) is hosting Costumes & Candy. Show up at the West Bend taproom wearing a costume and you get a free taster of festbier as a sidecar to any beer your purchase. There’s also free candy, which is reason enough to go.

Sunday, Oct. 27

There’s a Halloween meat raffle going on at Station No. 06 (6800 W. Becher St.) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 3 Sheeps Brewing is taking over the taps and you get a ticket for every beer of theirs that you purchase. If you’re in costume you get double. Drawings are at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. A portion of the proceeds benefits Champion for a Child.
