The weekly beer release at 1840 Brewing Co. is West Bend Dark. The German-style dark lager will be available at both taprooms on Wednesday and for pickup on Friday.

Explorium Brewpub’s Library Society meets for the last time this fall at the Third Ward (143 W. St. Paul Ave.). Talk smart and sip on cellared beers from Explorium.

Eagle Park Brewing is offering samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 23
MobCraft Beer (505 S. Fifth St.) is closing Nov. 30, but before that, they’re going out with a bang. Stout Fest is happening at the taproom from noon to 9 p.m. and includes the release of Padishah, a barrel-aged imperial stout. Variants include Padishah EXXTRA, aged in Heaven Hill barrels for two years, and Padishah Willett Rye, aged for 20 months in rye barrels. There’s also a Padishah Barleywine available this year. Padishah is available in cans, and the tap lines will be pouring a slew of other limited stouts during the fest.
A pop-up Winter Farmer’s Market is coming to Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 10 vendors will be there.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee is handing out samples from Eagle Park Brewing from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 24
More than 20 vendors will be at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) for the Lakefront Makers Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Stretch & Sip Beer Yoga comes to Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) at 11 a.m. Registration costs $20 and includes a beer when you’re done.

Sunday, Dec. 1: Milwaukee Krampusnacht comes to the Brewery District on Juneau Avenue from 3 to 10 p.m. The event includes a parade, dozens of vendors, live entertainment, food, and beer of course.
Wednesday, Dec. 4: Tess (2499 N. Bartlett Ave.) has two Freestyle Holiday Beer Dinners happening on Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 5). The five-course meals are paired with five seasonal beers. Call 414-964-8377 to reserve a spot.
Thursday, Dec. 5: Señor Krampus is being released at Perspective Brewing Company (7508 W. Greenfield Ave.). The stout is made with guajillo and ancho chiles, cacoa, cinnamon, and Madagascar vanilla beans.
Saturday, Dec. 7: Kegel’s Inn (5901 W. National Ave.) celebrates 100 years with a Centennial Birthday Bash. The party includes the release of Barrel Breaker Doppelbock, a beer brewed in collaboration with MobCraft that has been aged in Central Standard whiskey barrels with Wisconsin maple syrup.
Wednesday, Dec. 18: The last Beer School of the year at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) happens at 6:30 p.m. The subject is barrel-aged beers, and class should fill up quickly.
