Friday, April 11
Paint one of your favorite Wisconsin lakes at Lagers and Lakes Craft Fest at North Pillar Brewing (212 E. North St., Waukesha). Fisk Avenue DIY Studio provides the tools and instruction. Tickets are $75 and include a beer and your cool artwork.
If you’ve stowed away a handful of wooden beer tokens from Lakefront Brewery tours, this weekend is the time to give them back. Lakefront’s Token Redemption Weekend lets you use the valuable items on to-go beers.
Try samples from Young Blood Beer Co. at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 2 to 5 p.m.
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is offering samples from Brewery Ommegang from 3 to 5 p.m.
South Shore Terrace (2900 S Shore Dr.) opens for the spring and summer at 4 p.m. This year they’re devoting six tap lines to Lakefront Brewery beers.
Saturday, April 12
Vennture Brew Co. East (5519 W. North Ave.) hosts its annual Doughnut Don stout release beginning at noon. Several variants will be available, and they’re also releasing Jeelly Filled, a raspberry lemonade pastry sour, and Bake Juice, a New England IPA made with terpenes.
Gathering Place Brewing celebrates Halfway to Limb Shaker Day at both its Riverwest (811 E. Vienna Ave.) and Wauwatosa (7208 W. North Ave.) taprooms from noon to 10 p.m. They’ll be pouring the 2024 Limb Shaker Belgian Tripel and they’re tapping a brandy barrel-aged version.
MKE Brewing (2335 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) returns to its roots to celebrate Milwaukee Day with an old school brewery tour without the actual tour part. They’re hosting 90-minute sampling sessions throughout the day, and they’re releasing MKE Day Double IPA and Recombobulation, a barrel-aged cuvee blend. Tickets are $25.
Vennture, Component Brewing, New Barons Brewing Co-op, Torzala Brewing and Supermoon Beer Company are all pouring beer at the Milwaukee Marathon Post-Race Party at Humboldt Park (3000 S. Howell Ave.). The fun, ahem, runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Paint and Sip at the Original Brown Deer Beer Garden (8740 N. Deerwood Dr.) from 1 to 3 p.m. Registration is $37 and includes two drinks and the supplies needed to paint a cool floral scene.
Yoga on Tap comes to Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) at 11 a.m. The $20 cost includes yoga and a beer when you’re done.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee has samples from Door County Brewing Co. and Hacienda Beer Co. from noon to 3 p.m.
Sunday, April 13
Component and New Barons are teaming up for a MKE Day celebration at the Lincoln Warehouse (2018 S. 1st St.) from noon to 5 p.m. Expect food, live music, and beer releases.
Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S. 5th St.) is pouring 414 Golden Ale for just $4, until 4 p.m. They’re also having a potluck.
Handcrafted, a makers market, comes to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 20 vendors will be there.

Saturday, April 19: Joint Beer Fest returns to Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego). It’s a day filled with great breweries and great beer.
Saturday, April 26: Spring Beer Fest comes to The Landing at Hoyt Park (1800 N. Swan Blvd.). Sample more than 40 beers from a dozen standout breweries for just $30.
Monday, April 21: Raised Grain Brewing hosts a Spring Fling beer dinner. Five courses are paired with 10-ounce pours of Raised Grain beers.
Thursday, June 19: Sure, this seems like a while from now, but the New Glarus beer dinner at Tess is already taking reservations. Call 414-964-8377 to make one, because it’s sure to sell out.
