9 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: April 4-6

Cheers to Broken Bat Brewing and Urban Harvest Brewing. Both are celebrating an anniversary this week.

Friday, April 4

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) offers samples from Revolution Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, April 5

Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S. Fifth St.) puts on its 9th Anniversary CeleBrewtion from 1 to 8 p.m. They’ll be releasing PriBock Maibock and Hopsitively Hazy IPA.

Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) celebrates eight years of beer with an anniversary party from noon to 11 p.m. The festivities include free hot dogs, brats and burgers with the purchase of a beverage. They’re also releasing Spikes, a kettle peach sour, and 762*, a maple double bourbon barrel-aged stout.


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series comes to Vennture Brew Co. Brookfield (2970 North Brookfield Rd.). The casual 5K run starts at 11 a.m. and costs $35.

Slow Flow Yoga is happening at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.). The 45-minute session starts at 10:30 a.m. and costs just $12.

Ope! Brewing Co. (6751 W. National Ave.) hosts the Rescue Gang’s annual shower. Bring donations to help out the important dog rescue.

Try samples from Brewery Ommegang at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m.

Sunday, April 6

The New Beer’s Eve Maker’s Market comes to Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640, Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego) from noon to 4 p.m. More than 30 local vendors will be there.

Rey of Hope will be at Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) from 1 to 3 p.m. and they’re bringing adoptable dogs with them.

Thursday, April 10: The next meeting of the Explorium Library Society is happening at the Third Ward location (143 W. St. Paul Ave.) from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 12: Vennture Brew Co. East (5519 W. North Ave.) hosts its annual Doughnut Don stout release beginning at noon.

Saturday, April 19: Joint Beer Fest returns to Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego). It’s a day filled with great breweries and great beer.

Monday, April 21: Raised Grain Brewing hosts a Spring Fling beer dinner. Five courses are paired with 10-ounce pours of Raised Grain beers.

Thursday, June 19: Sure, this seems like a while from now, but the New Glarus beer dinner at Tess is already taking reservations. Call 414-964-8377 to make one, because it’s sure to sell out.
