Summerfest announced more than 100 new performers added to the Summerfest lineup for this year’s music festival. The Backstreet Boys, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa and Wu-Tang Clan are the new headliners set to perform at the American Family Amphitheater.
Like last year, Summerfest will take place over three consecutive weekends (Thursday-Sunday) including June 23-25, June 30 – July 2 and July 7-9.
“From Justin Bieber, Halsey, Backstreet Boys and a special Summerfest co-headlining show with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Wu-Tang Clan, to John Fogerty, Steve Aoki, Halestorm, and others, it would be difficult to find a more diverse lineup anywhere,” Don Smiley, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., said in a news release.
The list also included new headliners for the festival stages such as the Black Crowes, Charlie XCX, Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse, 2 Chainz, GAYLE, Barenaked Ladies, Boyz II Men and dozens more. The festival will include more than 800 acts and 1,000 performers at the 12 stages.
It was previously announced that Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Jaden, Jason Aldean, Machine Gun Kelly and Halsey were among the list of main-stage performers.
