1. Sit By Lake Michigan
BRIANNA SCHUBERT, ASSOCIATE DIGITAL EDITOR
When it’s nice out, I like to drive over to any of the parks along the lake and find a spot to plop down for the afternoon. Sometimes I read, sometimes I sit and chat with my fiancé or a friend, but either way I’m in my happy place. It’s such a great way to relax and reset before the week starts again!
2. The Lakefront Colectivo
ARCHER PARQUETTE, MANAGING EDITOR
I had a realization recently. I was thinking about how anxious and vaguely miserable I get on Sunday afternoons, and I was contemplating why that might be. Is it worry over the work-week ahead? Sadness over a squandered weekend? Then I realized that I am anxious and vaguely miserable all the time – I just notice it more when I don’t have anything to do on a Sunday afternoon. And that was actually quite freeing, invigorating even. Sunday isn’t some special terrible time – instead it’s an opportunity for your boy the Crusty Croissant to distract himself with pointless diversions. Most recently, I’ve been frequenting this scenic Colectivo on the shore – it’s often crowded, but there’s a parking lot across the street, and usually an open table outside, which is obviously the place to be on these fleeting summer days. It’s a nice spot to crack a book open, sip some coffee, get some sun and people-watch.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
3. Walk in Veterans Park
OLIVIA PATEL, EDITORIAL INTERN
Taking a walk in Veterans Park with my best friend – Sunday is the only day we are both available, so a walk by the lake is the perfect way to catch up on our separate weeks!
4. Boating on Lake Country Lakes
LISA BAKER, SALES EXECUTIVE
On our boat on a Lake Country Lake! Either Pine, Nagawicka or Okauchee!
5. Drinks and Tacos
CHRIS DROSNER, EXECUTIVE EDITOR
Ideally out for tacos and a touch of day drinking, but… more realistically probably puttering around in the yard and garage listening to the Brewers.
6. Café Hollander
ABBY YEMM, SALES EXECUTIVE
Ideally at Café Hollander with a Bloody Mary in hand.
7. Hiking
MELISA MACKEVICIUS, SALES EXECUTIVE
On a hike on one of the amazing trails in the area. Whichever season, there are amazing things to see. And who doesn’t love nature?
8. Working Out
SOPHIE YUFA, EDITORIAL DESIGNER
Probably at the North Shore WAC (Wisconsin Athletic Club), where it’s typically less busy by that time on a Sunday.
9. Lake Park Loop Trail
MAGGIE ZALE, EDITORIAL INTERN
Definitely on the Lake Park Loop of the Oak Leaf Trail… Then a trip to Ma Fischer’s for pancakes and a farmer’s skillet!
