The Racine Art Museum’s Peeps Art Exhibit in its 15th Year

A Super Sweet Exhibit Is Coming to the Racine Art Museum

Peeps will take center stage at the 15th annual International Peeps Art Exhibit.

The marshmallow is the muse at this unique show. The 15th annual International Peeps Art Exhibition at the Racine Art Museum encourages people of all ages from around the world to submit creations featuring Peeps, the colorful confection that’s both loved (so cute!) and hated (so sweet!).

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

Nearby stores often sell out of the seasonal candy because of the exhibition. “Some entrants would buy Peeps a good year or so in advance and just freeze them,” says Tyler Potter, a RAM spokesman.

Artists aren’t required to use the actual candies, but they’re often included. Wordplay abounds, like Mona Peepsa, Octapeep or The Picture of Dorian Peep, a 2023 entry seen here. The crowd favorite wins the PEEPles Choice Award.

See the creations March 21-April 13.
