If you’ve been curious to check out Milwaukee’s new-ish arts hotel, you’ve got a chance to do so free of charge for the next couple of days.
Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, which opened last year, is celebrating its placement in USA Today’s 10 Best New Hotels – putting Milwaukee among destinations like Palm Springs, San Francisco and Honolulu – with a contest giving away 100 one-night stays.
And these are no standard, boring hotel rooms. Each of Saint Kate’s 219 guestrooms come with a ukulele, an assortment of records and a record player, and a scroll with colored pencils to embrace your inner artist. Though we’re guessing these won’t be part of the giveaway, five of the rooms were uniquely designed by artists. The hotel boasts several galleries and exhibition spaces, including an outpost of the Museum of Wisconsin Art, as well as shops, bars and restaurants.
A free night Downtown sounds like the perfect mini staycation, with a taste of the Saint Kate experience.
