‘Today Show’ Mentions Local ‘Boston Strong’ Efforts

In an online story posted just hours ago, the “Today Show” reports on the “Boston Strong” campaign’s reach – from viral tweets to baseball stadiums. It even mentions Ink to the People’s collaboration with Emerson College students Nicholas Reynolds and Chris Dobens, which we’ve covered here and here.  The story also notes that more than 23,000 t-shirts have been ordered, bringing the total donation to The One Fund up to more than $345,000.

In 2016, she was a finalist for best profile writing at the City and Regional Magazine Awards for her story "In A Flash." In 2014, she won the the Milwaukee Press gold award for best public service story for editing "Handle With Care," a service package about aging in Milwaukee. Before all this, she attended the University of Missouri's School of Journalism and New York University's Summer Publishing Institute.
