Here are some possible options for your Thursday night:
1) Stay home and watch endless coverage of the swine flu unfold. Panic in quiet desperation.
2) Ignore the countdown to armageddon and watch the InStep Runner Fashion show.
Maybe those aren’t your ONLY two options, but I still think No. 2 sounds more appealing than most alternatives.
InStep racing team members and others will show off the new arrivals of spring and summer running apparel at InStep in the Third Ward, 403 E. Buffallo Street. The event kicks off THIS Thursday at 7 p.m., but you can show up early for a social run at 5:30. Snacks will be served and door prizes will be handed out. (Bonus!)
A portion of all sales from that evening will go to Team Salute, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and support of issues facing active military personnel, veterans and their families.
