Just in time for the dusting of snow, here is an installment of the winter menu, Milwaukee style. Juniper 61 (6030 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa, 414-727-6161) is rolling out its winter menu today, as a matter of fact. The Juniper peeps have added 15 small plates to its lineup of sandwiches, flat-bread pizzas and large plates. The small ensemble includes sweet potato poutine, Venetian scallops and mussels, tuna tostadas, sweet potato gnocchi, and chorizo empanadas ($4-$15). The small movement sure is growing, evidenced by La Merenda, Wolf Peach, AP Bar & Kitchen, Hinterland and others. Juniper’s hours: Mon-Thurs 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri-Sat 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
