  • Cory Booker, Newark Mayor and soon-to-be U.S. Senator, officiated same-sex marriages earlier today after opening City Hall at midnight. New Jersey became the 14th state to legalize gay marriage. Meanwhile in Wisconsin, the state supreme court will hear arguments about the constitutionality of about the state’s domestic partnership registry this week.
  • Sean Combs, otherwise known as Diddy, P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, plans to revolutionize cable with his Revolt TV, set to hit airwaves later today. The new channel will attempt to lure millennials back to the TV screen.
  • Two Milwaukee cops are expected to quit are pleading no contest to their roles in illegal strip searches. They could also face 90 days in jail and $1,000 fines.
  • It is officially cold now. The JS reports that the National Weather Service is calling for multiple freezes this week.
  • Watertown is aiming to become a dementia-friendly community with the leadership of a nurse and administrator at a local nursing home. It could be the first such community in the U.S.
