  • The Cocoon Room (820 E. Locust St.)  is hosting a vintage sale with two fashionistas tonight from 5-10 p.m. Fanny Müller is the stylish lady blogger behind The Hot Spot and L.A.-based stylist Annie Funn will attend as a special guest. Plus, we all know nothing pairs better with shopping than vino.
  • On Sept. 29, the costume designers at Milwaukee Rep will join forces with the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee to present “Stitching History from the Holocaust,” which will explore the dress designs of Hedwig Strnad during World War II. A reception will be held that evening and the designers will discuss the work that went into each exhibit piece.

  • Marc Jacobs, ever the fashion show innovator, had his models wear no makeup at his latest show. Zero. And I imagine the models felt even more fabulous than usual because their pores could actually breathe.
  • On Oct. 18, former Water Street boutique Third Coast Style will host the Milwaukee Fashion Market, which will feature seven “runways” and 40 local designers in Grand Avenue’s Plankinton Arcade.
