8 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: April 23-26

Three Cellars toasts 10 years in Menomonee Falls with a party, while Kegel’s Inn blesses the bock at Bockbierfest.

Thursday, April 23

Bring your best strategy to the Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. Proceeds, including $2 from every pint sold, benefit Playworks Wisconsin.

Tess (2499 N. Bartlett Ave.) hosts a “freestyle” beer dinner. Five courses are being paired with beers from five different breweries, including a 2025 Perennial Abraxas Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. Call 414-964-8377 to reserve a spot.

Black Puppy Days runs all weekend at Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S. Fifth St.). One dollar from every beer sold benefits the Wisconsin Human Society.

Friday, April 24

Try samples from Lexington Kentucky Ales at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave., West Allis) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, April 25

Three Cellars (N72 W13400 Lund Ln., Menomonee Falls) celebrates 10 years of business with a party. The party runs from noon to 11 p.m. and includes a special beer collaboration, food, music, and more.

Kegel’s Inn (5901 W. National Ave., West Allis) hosts Bockbierfest from 4 to 10 p.m. There will be beer poking, a blessing of the bock, German traditional live music and the release of Hofbräu Maibock.

Help out the community during the Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon. Lakefront Brewery is one of the participating spots, and they reward you for your work with tokens for free beer when you’re done. See sign-up details on the brewery’s event page.

Sunday, April 26

Yoga is happening at Eagle Park Brewing (815 E. Hamilton St.) at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $15 and include a discounted beverage when you’re done posing.

Wednesday, May 13: The Fermentorium (7481 State Rd. 60, Cedarburg) marks 10 years in the brewery business with several days of festivities that start on Wednesday and culminate with a big party on Saturday.

Sunday, May 17: Maifest returns to Lakefront Brewery. The gluten-free festival features food and craft beverages and several cask beers made for the occasion.

Saturday, May 30: The eighth year of Lager & Friends is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. The beer fest out on Vienna Street in front of Gathering Place Brewing highlights lagers from several standout breweries.

Saturday, May 30: Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewing celebrates its 14th anniversary with live music, food vendors, a sale of vintage barrel-aged bottles and more.

Saturday, June 13: Sip and Savor Wisconsin (formerly the Wisconsin Beer Lovers Fest) comes to The Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd., Glendale) and the pavilion in its Old Heidelberg Park beer garden. Sample beer, wine, spirits and food from some of Wisconsin’s best artisan makers. Tickets start at $70.
