All the juicy fashion tidbits worth knowing today. Let’s get to it.

  • The styling at mall staple J.Crew, which thanks to its creative director Jenna Lyons has had quite the renaissance in the fashion sphere in the last few years, is up for debate. And Mickey Drexler, its CEO, is personally answering complaints.
  • They don’t often get much buzz during fashion season, but they certainly deserve it. Who am I talking about? It’s the floral designers who spend copious amounts of time creating lush and lively runway sets.
  • Another year, another attempt at a Milwaukee-based “fashion week.” I’ve heard there will be a few different events, the latest of which is a runway show that will take place at 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Spin. It looks like there is also a fashion-related block party in the works. More details to come.

  • In conjunction with tonight’s Gallery Night, Flagship will be hosting a fashion show at 714 N. Milwaukee St., at 8 p.m.
Are you hitting up the art parties tonight? Let me know in the comments.
