Less than six months into its run, Walker’s Point bar-restaurant Blue Jacket (135 E. National Ave.) has a new chef. Matt Kerley is leaving Bartolotta-run Rumpus Room (1030 N. Water St.) to take over Blue Jacket’s kitchen on Nov. 5. This is after Blue Jacket’s Chad Meier put in his notice. No word on where Meier is headed. As for Rumpus Room, Joe Bartolotta confirms that B’s corporate chef, Adam Siegel, will head Rumpus Room until a new chef is secured. Big news for a Monday morning, people.
