9 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: July 28-Aug. 3

It’s a good week for stout lovers, thanks to upcoming releases by 3 Sheeps Brewing and Eagle Park Brewing.

Tuesday, July 28

3 Sheeps Brewing (1837 North Ave., Sheboygan) releases its version of the nationwide collaboration, Black Is Beautiful Stout this week. Order it online for pickup. Proceeds benefit Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee and the NAACP.

Wednesday, July 29

It’s apparently National Chicken Wing Day (who knew?). The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) is marking this glorious occasion with deals on wings and drafts by Bell’s Brewery.



Thursday, July 30

Boulevard Brewing is tapping a few beers at the Lokal Beer Garden (8415 W. Sura Ln.) at 4 p.m. On the list is Rye on Rye Maple a barrel-aged ale made with maple syrup. Boulevard will also be pouring a few new seltzers.

Order your kringle and beer pairing from MobCraft Beer online by Thursday at 2 p.m. to be ready for Saturday’s Zoom event (see below).

To coincide with the release of Black Is Beautiful, 3 Sheeps Brewing is hosting a talk with Colleen Foley, the executive director of the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Friday, July 31

1840 Brewing is releasing 1840 Helles, an ideal summer lager, over the weekend. Presale runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pick up is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

1840 will also be pouring at the beer garden at Homestead Hollow County Park (N120 W19809 Freistadt Rd., Germantown) from 4 to 9 p.m. Bring a mask, a credit card and your thirst.

Saturday, August 1

MobCraft Beer is hosting a kringle and beer pairing on Zoom at 7 p.m. Pick up four beers and four kringle bites from Uncle Mike’s Kringle starting at noon on Saturday. Cost is $35.

Monday, August 3

Eagle Park Brewing’s big release Booze For Breakfast Bourbon Barrel-Aged Breakfast Stout doesn’t really start until August 8. But tickets go on sale Monday at 5 p.m. to ensure that you have a bottle or two waiting for you during the pick up at the Muskego Taproom (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy.).
