Concerts, Dr. Seuss and dinosaurs make for an exciting weekend here in Milwaukee!

1. Spring Home Improvement Show

ALL WEEKEND | WISCONSIN STATE FAIR PARK EXPOSITION CENTER 

Hosted by NARI, National Association of the Remodeling Industry, Milwaukee, the Spring Home Improvement Show presents over 150 remodeling experts. Meet with proven contractors all weekend to discuss your next home improvement project. Tickets are $10 for ages 18 and up.

2. Dino and Dragon Stroll

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | WISCONSIN STATE FAIR PARK 

Watch out, dinosaurs and dragons are in Milwaukee this weekend! At the Wisconsin State Fair Park, experience life-sized dinosaurs like the 28-foot-tall T-Rex, along with bouncy houses and stationary rides that mimic riding a dinosaur. There is also a sensory-friendly session Saturday morning for children who want to experience the event without the full lighting and sound. Children under two years old, military and veterans are free admission.

3. Dr. Seuss-Themed Winter Festival

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | FESTIVALS OF CEDARBURG INC.  

This two-day event inspired by Dr. Seuss is filled with contests, races, outdoor activities, camel rides and a Saturday night, adults-only Seussville. There’s even a selection of indoor events like shopping, chili cook-offs and music. Be sure to check out their website here, and register for certain events.

4. “Love at the Memorial”

SATURDAY | THE WAR MEMORIAL CENTER 

The War Memorial Center in Milwaukee is hosting their inaugural bridal expo. Whether you’re a recently engaged bride-to-be or actively looking for wedding vendors, the free event is running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday.

5.  Ripe The Band

SATURDAY | MIRAMAR THEATRE 

The Boston-based, seven-piece band Ripe is making a stop at the Miramar Theatre this weekend with a special guest, The Collection. All ages are welcome, but you must be 21 or older to drink. 6. Steve Aoki

SATURDAY | THE RAVE EAGLES CLUB 

The Rave is hosting two-time Grammy-nominated artist, DJ and producer, Steve Aoki this Saturday at 8p.m. General admission tickets are still available for this laser-filled, immersive experience of a show.

7. Dream Theatre 

SATURDAY | MILLER HIGH LIFE THEATRE  

After their November show was postponed, Dream Theatre is back with special guest artist, Arch Echo, this Saturday. Tickets from the original date will still be honored and there are still many available for purchase.

8. Nature Detectives

SUNDAY | SCHLITZ AUDUBON NATURE CENTER 

The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center invites you to think like a detective as you search for signs of animal life in the winter. This outdoor event is for children ages five and up runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
