1. Celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend

2. 2022 Anime Milwaukee

ALL WEEKEND | WISCONSIN CONVENTION CENTER

It’s like a comic convention, only you cosplay as your favorite character from “Sailor Moon” or “DragonBallZ.” This three-day event will take place at the Wisconsin Convention Center and aims to build community and educate those who don’t know “Neon Genesis Evagelion” from “Rahxephon.” Everyone is welcome to celebrate manga, Asian culture, music and gaming. 3. Disney on Ice – Into the Magic

“No dream is too big for Disney On Ice when your favorite Disney stories come to life.” Performances will be at Fiserv Forum starting Thursday and run through Sunday. Featured stories include Frozen, Moana, Beauty and the Beast and more. Tickets are still available for most shows and start at $16.

4. Yamaneika Saunders

FRIDAY | MILWAUKEE IMPROV – BROOKFIELD

If you’re looking for a laugh this weekend, Yamaneika Saunders is performing a set at Milwaukee Improv. Tickets are still available for $20 each. 5. Annual Onesie Bar Crawl

SATURDAY | BROTHERS BAR & GRILL

Most people drink at home in their pajamas anyway, so you might as well don your favorite onesie and hit the bars. The crawl will start at Brothers Bar & Grill at 4 p.m. and venture to eight different restaurants and taverns along the way. Drink specials will be offered at the crawl stops. 6. The War On Drugs

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | RIVERSIDE THEATRE

American indie-rock band, The War on Drugs, will take the stage this weekend at the Riverside Theatre featuring songs off their latest album “I Don’t Live Here Anymore.” Tickets start at $29.50 and $1 of each ticket sold will benefit Partners in Health. Check out the discography on Spotify.

7. Zarzuela Louisa Fernanda

ALL WEEKEND | WILSON THEATER AT VOGEL HALL MARCUS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The Florentine Opera opens with Zarzuela Louisa Fernanda this weekend. This  romantic show offers a mix between spoken and sung scenes that have been performed worldwide. It’s a “comedy of manners and revolutionary politics,” that is considered to be one of the top zarzuelas ever performed. Tickets are still available and start around $34.

8. Milwaukee Ballet Genesis Dance Competition

ALL WEEKEND | MILWAUKEE BALLET COMPANY

The Milwaukee Ballet is hosting a dance competition! Genesis, the company’s biannual dance competition, brings together three choreographers from around the country to compete for a contract in a future season at the Milwaukee Ballet. The panel of judges chooses the winner, but the audience has a say in the matter as well. This year’s featured choreographers are Nadine Barton, DaYoung Jung and Price Suddarth.
