1. Musical Mondays

Bluegrass, R&B and zydeco bands will perform in stunning Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Lake Park. If you can’t make Mondays, try Wonderful Wednesdays at the same venue.

2. Chill on the Hill

JUNE 7-AUG. 30 | HUMBOLDT PARK

The LOL, Moonglow and even the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra are just some of the talent hitting the band chalet at this Bay View gem. Carry-ins are allowed but Vine Beer Garden has brews, too.

Wednesday

3. Live @ The Lakefront

JULY 13-AUG. 31 | DISCOVERY WORLD

With an epic Lake Michigan view, this is one of the prettiest live music spots in the city. Walk along the Pier Wisconsin cruise dock to take in the scene and hear the songs bounce across the water.

5. Jazz in the Park

Don’t let the name fool you, it’s not just jazz at this park series. The mix of rock, funk and R&B gets the crowd up on their feet and moving to the music. Food trucks provide the fuel to keep revelers going.

6. Musica del Lago

JUNE 9-AUG. 18 | 1701 N. LINCOLN MEMORIAL DR. 

Colectivo’s lakefront coffee shop hosts this celebration of all things Latin music. It’s a chance to see the city’s finest talent in the genre while enjoying the patio’s ambiance.

7. Bike Night Concert Series

THROUGH SEPT. 29 | 400 W. CANAL ST. 

Hop on your hog, rev your engines and cruise over to the Harley- Davidson Museum for live music with your fellow motorheads. All wheels welcome.

8. Starry Nights

This one’s for classical music lovers, featuring concerts from the Wisconsin Philharmonic and other area musicians. BelAir Cantina is there too, serving up tacos.
