We’ve rounded up seven places to pick up your tree this holiday season, and all of them are 35 minutes away or closer. So, hop in the car, put on those holiday tunes and go dashing through the snow (if we ever get any) to pick out your perfect tree.
1. Ideal Christmas Trees – Whitefish Bay

Head on over to Whitefish Bay for cut Wisconsin-grown trees, wreaths, various garlands and centerpieces, this lot is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m as your “one-stop-shop” for holiday décor through Dec. 23 (or until trees are gone). Stop by Dec. 8 for live ice sculpting from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Wellens Tree Farm
25 MINUTE DRIVE | CORNER OF BROAD ST. & SCHOOLWAY, GREENDALE
Check out the Balsam and Fraser fir trees along with handmade wreaths at this retail lot in the historic downtown Greendale. They’re open seven days a week and hours vary.
5. Muskego Choose & Cut Christmas Trees
30 MINUTE DRIVE | CORNER OF MOORLAND & WOODS RD., MUSKEGO
Open Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the weekend before Christmas, this tree lot offers Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, White Pine, White Spruce and Blue Spruce.
6. Buffalo Bill’s Christmas Trees
30 MINUTE DRIVE | 9612 W. OAKWOOD RD., FRANKLIN
Not only does Buffalo Bill’s farm have thousands of trees growing on their 60 acre farm to either choose and cut or pick up pre-cut, but they also have activities and fun for the whole family, including kid’s crafts, a campfire, pop-in visits from Santa and more!
7. Cozy Nook Farm
