7 Beer Events Brewing In Milwaukee This Week: March 10-13

A few big releases are scheduled for this week. And on Sunday, Lakefront Brewery is serving up pie. It’s a good week for craft beer.

Wednesday, March 10

Indulgence Chocolatiers is hosting a Facebook Live pairing of dark winter beers, cheese and chocolate. A $60 kit includes four bottles of beer and plenty of cheese and chocolate for two people. Pick one up on Tuesday or Wednesday at Indulgence (211 S. 2nd St.).

Friday, March 12

There’s a special release happening over the weekend at 1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.). African Drinking Chocolate is a stout brewed with brown sugar, honey, milk sugar, cacao, cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla. There’s also a barrel-aged version that has been in rum barrels for 14 months and sounds pretty amazing. Preorder on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until it sells out). Pickup is Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

Eagle Park Brewing is releasing a whopping six beers this weekend. Members can pick theirs up on Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Muskego location (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego) and from 3 to 10 p.m. at the Milwaukee location (823 E. Hamilton St.). The public gets access for walk-in sales on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at both locations.

Saturday, March 13

Head to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) to try all four Mystic Knot Barrel-Aged Stouts on tap. Bring a food or hygiene item for the Riverwest Food Pantry for a coupon for free beer and/or coffee on your next visit. Preorder a four-pack of Mystic Knot for pickup if you want to bring some home.

Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) is releasing a new DDH Everything Eventually variant at noon. Preorder starts on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Compare brews from MobCraft Beer and Working Draft during a 7 p.m. guided tasting on Zoom. Sample four beers from each brewery that you can pick up in a kit on Saturday at 1 p.m. at MobCraft (515 N. 5th St.). Kits are $40 and must be preordered by Thursday at 3 p.m.

Sunday, March 14

Lakefront Brewery is celebrating Pi Day in a delicious way. For $40 you get six different slices of pie and a mixed six-pack of beers to pair with them. Peanut butter and chocolate cream pie paired with Fuel Café Coffee Stout? Yes, please. Preorder closes at 9 p.m. on Friday, so be sure to order ahead.
