1. A Conversation With Jim Abrahams

MONDAY FROM 2-3:15 P.M. | ONLINE EVENT

Jim Abrahams may be best known for co-writing and co-directing the movie “Airplane!” but he grew up in Shorewood where he met quite a few of his longtime creative collaborators. During this virtual event, he will talk about his early life and his Hollywood career.

2. North Side Pop-up Farmers Market

TUESDAY FROM 3:30-6:30 P.M. | 4350 N. 35TH ST.

This is the third and final of a series of outdoor farmers market pop-ups on Milwaukee’s North Side. There will be an assortment of local vendors selling fresh and healthy food items as well as healthy cooking demonstrations, free take-home samples and recipe cards. Masks will be provided at the door if needed.

4. Live Virtual Cooking Class with Patty Stark

Milwaukee Public Market’s Patty Stark, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, is teaching a class on how to construct a Buddha Bowl. The hands-on class will teach you how to construct the simple, yet flavorful one-bowl meal. 

5. The Thicker Than Water Online Book Launch with Geoff Carter

WEDNESDAY FROM 7-8 P.M. | ONLINE EVENT

Geoffrey Carter is launching his new novel Thicker Than Water online with giveaways, live music, drinks, drawings and a short reading from the book. There will also be Q&A session with the author.

6. Speed Dating at Camp Bar Third Ward
