6 Milwaukee Virtual Valentine’s Dates

From virtual concerts and cooking classes to heart-shaped charcuterie boards, Milwaukee has something to make every couple’s at-home Valentine’s Day date night special this year.

1. Indulgence Chocolatiers Valentine’s Day Wine and Dessert Tasting for Two

Pick up a kit ($75) in Walker’s Point the day before and experience a virtual pairing via Facebook Life on Friday, Feb. 12 with owner of Indulgence Chocolatiers, Julie Waterman. The kit includes three bottles of red wine and enough cheese and confections for four people to enjoy.

2. Jim Brickman: ‘Share The Love’ Live!

FEBRUARY 12 – 14, TIMES VARY | $50

Grammy Nominated Songwriter and piano sensation Jim Brickman is ready to “Share the Love” all Valentine’s weekend with his virtual live show. Hosted by the Marcus Performing Arts Center, this exclusive experience will feature many of Brickman’s hit songs, including “Love of my Life,” Destiny” and “Angel Eyes.” Tickets are $50 starting Feb. 1, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit theaters across the country.

3. Romancing the Stars! Virtual Valentine Stargazing

FEBRUARY 13 – 14, TIMES VARY | $10-15

In this special adults-only Valentine’s Day program from the Milwaukee Public Museum Planetarium, couples can find romance, love and magic in the constellations from the comfort of their homes. Couples can also submit a love poem to be featured in this “romantic tour of the universe.” Grab a blanket and cozy up with your love as you venture into an out-of-this-world evening!

4. Ex Fabula Presents: Experience Afterdark

FEBRUARY 13, 6:30 P.M. ENTRY, 7 P.M. STORIES | $10

A lot can happen after dark. From first dates to crimes to wild nights, hear stories from hand-picked storytellers and audience members about their wild after dark stories. This non-competitive slam is hosted by Ex Fabula, a Milwaukee arts organization dedicated to connecting community through storytelling. Tickets are $10, and attendees are also given the option at checkout to “pay it forward” and purchase a ticket for someone who cannot afford one.

5. Check out a Local Virtual Class

Virtual classes are a perfect way to have an at-home adventure this Valentine’s Day.
