6 Cultural Events You Won’t Want to Miss This November

Make the most of Milwaukee’s vibrant arts and entertainment scene this month.

1. Bloomin’ Holidays

Nov. 4-6 | MUSEUM OF WISCONSIN ART

Florals will be taking over the galleries at the Museum of Wisconsin Art. There will be 20 floral installations on display from local florists and artists. This is the 10th year for the event.

2. Beehive: The ’60s Musical

NOV. 11-JAN. 15, 2023 | STACKNER CABARET

Dust off your bell bottoms for this musical from the Milwaukee Rep. The show is a high-energy production celebrating powerful female voices from the 1960s. Hear music from the likes of Diana Ross, The Supremes, Tina Turner and more.

3. Anna Tivel

NOV. 8 | THE BACK ROOM @ COLECTIVO

Oregon artist Anna Tivel is best known for her storytelling. In her most recent album, Outsiders, she weaves tales of reflection and clear-eyed empathy. Catch her live for this intimate performance at the Back Room @ Colectivo.

4. Indigenous Authors Panel

NOV. 5 | UW-MILWAUKEE AT WAUKESHA

Hear from native writers at this event, which is part of the Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books. The panel will feature Louis V. Clark III, Kimberly Blaeser and Matthew L. Fletcher.

5. The Tin Woman

NOV. 23-DEC. 18 | NEXT ACT THEATRE

This play is based on a heartfelt true story. Joy gets a new lease on life after getting a heart transplant, but her second chance leaves her asking, “Why me?” Watch her navigate how to make the most of this gift through grief and laughter.

6. Judy Collins

NOV. 25 | UIHLEIN HALL

This is your chance to hear “Amazing Grace” live in concert. Grammy-Award-winning singer and songwriter Judy Collins will sing this and other holiday hits at this Marcus Performing Arts Center concert.
