5 Things To Do in Milwaukee This Week: Oct. 19 – 22

There are plenty of ways to let loose and have fun this week in Milwaukee.

This might be a tad different than something you are used to when going to a concert because it is a steel pan ensemble. The group will play traditional pieces along with classical and pop arrangements making it an event everyone can get behind.

2. Laughing Lunch with Milwaukee Comedy

Milwaukee Comedy and NEWaukee are fighting to bring an end to awkward lunchroom conversations. Gather up your friends, family and coworkers and head over to The Laughing Tap from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for some laughs while getting some food in your stomach. The lineup is full of comedians sure to make you laugh.

3. Check Out Eldr+Rime’s New Happy Hour Menu

Eldr+Rime, a new restaurant in Tosa, announced their new happy hour menu that is featuring Scandanavian-inspired flavors.

5. REPair Divides: Reentry and Social Stigma with the Milwaukee Repertory Theater

THURSDAY FROM 7-8:30 P.M. | VIRTUAL

Join play writer Cori Thomas and the Milwaukee Repertory Theater for a performance of “Welcome Home” by Thomas. The arts are evoking a lot of conversation about social change and this event is just one example. It is virtual so you can watch it from your home. If you miss it, this is just one part in a dialogue series.
