The cooking demos here ($100) culminate with a four-course, chef-made meal. 

2. Chef Pam’s Kitchen

Some geared to adults; others, to children. From $15 for Cookies with Santa for kids up to $149 for a couples class.

3. Tabal Chocolate

The Tosa maker offers Bean to Bar classes at the 101 ($50) and 201 ($150) levels. The former encompasses lessons about origins and ingredients, and tasting. The latter digs deeper, with students actually making chocolate. 

4. Glorioso’s Appetito & Sage Harvest 

1020 E. BRADY ST.

Hands-on classes ($49-$89) covering all kinds of culinary subjects – babka- and challah-making, Bolognese and fresh pasta, modern sauces from scratch, knife skills. 

5. Braise 

1101 S. SECOND ST.

Besides a whole semester of cooking instruction ($1,650-$1,800), this Third Ward resto also hosts single, two-hour, themed classes that start with a bite and drink ($70) and feature a specific theme, such as gumbo. Keep checking the website for details on 2024 classes.
