In Wisconsin, tailgating is a must. These simple tips will help you make the most of this season.

Karen Berenson of RunFit MKE has been a Packers tailgater for 10 years, and she believes having the right mindset is key to making the most of a Green Bay experience.

Here are a few of her suggestions for a tailgating season to remember:

1. Come prepared.

“Bring clothes for all seasons. You never really know what you’re going to get up there.”

2. Don’t stress over location.

“Whether you are in a hotel or in the backyard of a house you rent, it’s all one big party – it all just spreads out from the stadium.”

3. Make friends.

“Talk to the people tailgating next to you! The coolest part of the tailgating experience is that you get to meet so many fans from different areas and walks of life.”

4. Enjoy Yourself!

“It really is just a big party, and there’s so much good energy and positive vibes. … You only get these opportunities so many times.”
