The great outdoors can be fun, even from home. Two of Milwaukee’s popular outdoor attractions now have virtual experiences that can be enjoyed from home. Just because we have to stay at home, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the sights from afar.
Whether it’s adorbale animals or stunning views, these virtual attractions are smile-inducing.
1. Milwaukee County Zoo
With the zoo currently closed, the Milwaukee County Zoo has live webcams where favorites such as polar bears, penguins and tigers can be viewed for a daily dose of animal cuteness. Watch the Humboldt penguins waddle around their rock enclosure, or the jaguar roam its indoor sanctuary. This webcam is a treat for all, especially the kids!
2. Milwaukee County Parks
Milwaukee County Parks also has a virtual option available for a change of scenery. The virtual experience called Slow TV consists of calming, slow-mo drone videos of Milwaukee County Parks. The views of Grant Park in winter are especially dazzling and we recommend giving them a look. Milwaukee County Parks are also asking for park photos to build their image galleries! Submit your photos here.
