Central Waters Brewing and the Ice Age Trail Alliance have collaborated to create Yellow Blaze IPA. The release party takes place at Central Waters (1037 W. Juneau Ave.) from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The Alliance will be there with merch and information, and $1 from every pint sold benefits the group.
There are three releases this week at 1840 Brewing Company. The ever popular The Cashmere Sweater Double IPA is back, as is Michael Milders, a dark English mild ale, and Michael Wilders, a wild ale made with Syrah grapes.
Thursday, Sept. 26
Cactus Club (2496 S. Wentworth Ave.) is hosting the release party for Lakefront Brewery’s My Turn: Samm, a peach lime ale, at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 27
Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) is releasing 7-Year Barrel-Aged Imperial Pumpkin Brewers’ Reserve at 11 a.m. The beer, aged in brandy barrels, will be available only at the brewery.
A weekend-long Oktoberfest celebration comes to the Estabrook Park Beer Garden (4600 Estabrook Dr.). At 6 p.m. on Friday, Third Space Brewing’s Andy Gehl is tapping a free keg of Oktoberfest to get things started. A free keg of Hofbräu Oktoberfest will be tapped on Saturday at 2 p.m. Check the event page for the full weekend schedule.
OK toberfest West comes to Vennture Brew Co. in Brookfield (2970 N. Brookfield Rd.). It’s a two-day event, running from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Stein holding happens at 6 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.
The five-week long Oktoberfest at Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd.) continues over the weekend. The fun begins at 4 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Try samples from Hinterland Brewery (2 to 5 p.m.) and 3 Sheeps Brewing (3 to 5 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.).
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is offering samples from Raised Grain Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 28
Cheers to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) for celebrating its eighth year with an anniversary party. The daylong party is filled with music, food trucks and the release of Eight, an ale aged using the solera process.
Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) hosts Czechtoberfest from 2 to 7 p.m. in the adjacent Crops on Top Garden. It includes live music, smoked Czech sausage and Czech-inspired beers.
Gazebo Park (5710 Broad St.) is the site of Greendale’s Oktoberfest from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The festivities include a makers market, bounce houses, bingo, and pretzel eating and stein holding contests. Explorium Brewpub is providing the beer.
Explorium Brewpub celebrates Oktoberfest at its Greendale location (5300 S. 76th St.), starting at noon. They’ll be tapping an Oktoberfest firkin at 3 p.m., which means free beer while it lasts.
Germantown’s 30th Oktoberfest takes place at Dheinsville Historical Park (N128 W18780 Holy Hill Rd.) on Saturday (noon to 11 p.m.) and Sunday (noon to 7 p.m.). They’ll be serving plenty of food and German beers from Old Germantown. Be sure to be there at 3 p.m. on Saturday for the Dachshund Dash.
Havenwoods Taproom and Beer Garden (5840 N. 60th St.) hosts the Beer Trail Invitational, which combines tasting beer from more than 30 breweries with hike through nature. Tickets are $75.
1840 Brewing is pouring beer at Fall Fest in Bayside (9075 N. Regent Rd.) from 2 to 9 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 29
St. Augustine of Hippo (2530 S. Howell Ave.) is pouring a trio of German beers and serving beef rouladen. There’s a kids root beer stein hoisting competition at 3:30 p.m. The adults compete at 4 p.m.
Station No. 06 (6800 W. Becher St.) is bringing Surly Brewing Co. in as a special guest during the Packers/Vikings game at noon. Expect deals on beer and food.

Oct. 5: Indeed Brewing Milwaukee (530 S. 2nd St.) celebrates five years in business with a block party from 2 to 9 p.m.
Oct. 6: The Fall Fest of Ale comes to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It includes fall vendors, fall foods, and fall beers.
Oct. 12: Gathering Place Brewing celebrates its eighth annual Limb Shaker Day by releasing its standout Belgian tripel made with Door County cherries.
