1. Milwaukee Comic Con
SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-5 P.M. | WISCONSIN STATE FAIR PARK
More than 350 artists and vendors are bringing comics, cards, collectibles and more to State Fair Park. The long-running Milwaukee Comic Con starts at 10 a.m. in the Exposition Center – 9:30 a.m. “early bird entry” is available online – and kids under 12 get free admission. All attendees can grab a free comic at the door!
2. Tacos and Tequila Festival
SATURDAY AT 2:30 P.M. | FRANKLIN FIELD
Tacos and Tequila is back for its third year, with a lineup of throwback artists performing, including Lil Jon, Pretty Ricky and B.O.B. This one-day, 21+ festival will feature chef-inspired taco vendors and craft margaritas to fuel guests through musical performances and events – from Lucha Libre wrestling to a chihuahua beauty pageant. 3. China Lights: Magical Forest
ALL WEEKEND | BOERNER BOTANICAL GARDENS
Immerse yourself into a magical forest, during the opening days of the eighth annual China Lights. More than 40 sets of lantern displays will transform Boerner Botanical Gardens every Tuesday through Sunday night, starting this Friday and running until Nov. 2. Visitors can also enjoy food from new and local vendors on-site, along with live stage entertainment.

4. Brewers vs. Cardinals
ALL WEEKEND | AMERICAN FAMILY FIELD
Watch the Brew Crew take on the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Weekend at American Family Field, and the Crew is donating $1 from every ticket to support research into pediatric cancers. Find tickets to all three games here.
5. Lil Sasquatch
ALL WEEKEND | MILWAUKEE IMPROV
Catch comedian Harry Settel, also known as, “Lil Sasquatch,” during his weekend at Milwaukee Improv. The New York City-based comic began his career making sketches online and was later hired by the sports media company Barstool Sports, where his podcast “Son of a Boy Dad” lives. He has five showtimes across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and you can grab tickets here.
6. Sourdough Class
THURSDAY FROM 6-8 P.M. | MEQUON PUBLIC MARKET
You can take and bake your sourdough after this two-hour workshop. The class will cover all aspects of sourdough bread-making, from starter maintenance to the crumb and the crust. Plus, attendees will get to sample two breads during the class. Reserve a spot here.
7. Café con Arte: ‘Palimpsests + Memories: The Student to The Teacher’

Tour this gallery with fresh churros and coffee in hand. Jacobo Lovo, the managing artistic director of Latino Arts will lead discussion surrounding the new exhibit “Palimpsests + Memories: The Student to The Teacher.” Register here for the 8:30 a.m. English tour or the 9:30 a.m. Spanish tour.
8. Gallery Talk: ‘Reviving the Dance of Death’
FRIDAY AT NOON | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
Join Nikki Otten, associate curator of prints and drawings, for an in-depth exploration of themes and topics in the Milwaukee Art Museum’s prints exhibition “Reviving the Dance of Death.” This drop-in experience is free for members and included with museum admission.
9. Feast on the Streets: Fall Edition
FRIDAY FROM 4-8 P.M. | DOWNTOWN RACINE
Eat your way through Wisconsin on Friday evening at the fall edition of Racine’s Feast on the Streets, “Feastsconsin: A Taste of the Badger State.” Each of the 10 participating restaurants will feature a dish inspired by Wisconsin’s best known foodstuffs, such as cranberries, cheese and brats. 10. 88Nine Fall Ball
FRIDAY AT 6 P.M. | RADIO MILWAUKEE
Radio Milwaukee is bringing back the 88Nine Fall Ball. The evening starts on the rooftop with drinks and appetizers. Stick around to watch community leaders perform with a live band in “Karaoke for a Cause,” and then end the night with a dance party led by 88Nine DJs. All proceeds from the Ball directly support Radio Milwaukee and its programming. Grab tickets here.
11. Central Bark Movie Night
FRIDAY AT 6:30 P.M. | FRANKLIN CENTRAL BARK
Central Bark in Franklin is throwing a movie night with your pup. This means vaccinated, leashed and social dogs are welcome to a free screening of The Sandlot and pet-friendly popcorn. Adoptable dogs from JR’s Pups N’ Stuff will also be in attendance. Bring your own chair and blanket – Central Bark has the refreshments covered.
12. Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band
FRIDAY AT 8 P.M. | MILLER HIGH LIFE THEATRE
The legendary (and 85-year-old!) Beatle Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band will perform at the Miller High Life Theatre, for the Milwaukee stop on his fall tour. Tickets to the 8 p.m. show are available online.
13. Petfest Pop-Up
SATURDAY FROM 8:30 A.M.-2 P.M. | FOXTOWN STATION
Four-legged attendees at this pop-up can brave the obstacles at a free agility course, compete in the Doggie Dash race and cool off in the splash zone. For humans – check out the free photo booth, shopping and Foxtown brews and BBQ. There will also be live music all day.
14. Wisconsin Football Watch Party
SATURDAY AT 10 A.M. | THIRD SPACE BREWING
Third Space Brewing is hosting an outdoor watch party in the beer garden for Saturday’s UW game, when the Badgers take on the Crimson Tide. They’ll be serving up bloody marys and tacos. Drink deals will be available to guests in fan gear – Fresh to Death Vintage is bringing a pop-up shop of vintage collegiate gear to the party!
15. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | FISERV FORUM
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live is returning to the Fiserv Forum with an all-new show, Glow-N-Fire. On Saturday and Sunday, monster trucks Mega Wrex, Tiger Shark, Bone Shaker and more will roar through the venue, with gravity-defying stunts by the Freestyle Motocross Team. Grab tickets here.
16. Free Swim Artist Market
SUNDAY AT NOON | CACTUS CLUB
Head to Cactus Club on Sunday afternoon for its Free Swim Artist Market. From 12-4 p.m., you can shop from local artists and hear tunes by DJ Pinkteeth in the bar. Plus, there will be a risograph printer for small-project community use in the live room, with ink, paper and masters provided.
