This weekend, Milwaukee’s standout events like the Air and Water Show are back.

1. German Fest

ALL WEEKEND AT VARIOUS TIMES | HENRY MAIER FESTIVAL PARK

Milwaukee’s German Fest is back this weekend with three full days of beer, brats and more. Stroll around the festival grounds to catch events like the Dachshund Derby or the Stihl Timbersports woodchopping competition. This year marks the end of the half-liter and liter stein glasses at the fest, so get a drink to commemorate these German icons. Tickets start at $5 for Friday, $18 for Saturday or Sunday and $40 for a three day pass.

2. Milwaukee Air and Water Show

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 9 A.M.-4 P.M. | MCKINLEY PARK 

The Air and Water Show is back presenting a weekend full of aerial performances and water demonstrations. Tickets to the show start at $44 for adults and $31 for children. A beach box can be purchased online as well. Guests who don’t reserve one are highly encouraged to bring chairs.

3. Brady Street Festival

SATURDAY FROM NOON-11 P.M. | BRADY STREET 

Swing over to Brady Street for the annual Brady Street Festival. The festival will have live music throughout the day, local vendors, great food and cold drinks. This is a free-to-attend party.

4. Shorewood Public Library Summer Celebration

THURSDAY FROM 6-8 P.M.| SHOREWOOD PUBLIC LIBRARY 

Celebrate a summer full of books with the public library! The annual celebration includes Culver’s custard, bubbles, music from DJ Kid Boogie Down and so much more. This event is free to attend and will happen rain or shine.  

5. Champagne and Charcuterie

THURSDAY FROM 5-6:30 P.M. | STONE HOUSE COLLECTIVE 

In honor of the Stone House’s eighth birthday, Deska and Co will take the guests through a hands-on charcuterie class. Guests will learn how to pair and present a board that will impress their friends. Tickets are $47 each and can be purchased online. 

6. An Idiot’s Guide to Wine:
A Comedy Wine Tasting Experience 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT VARIOUS TIMES | THE BOX MKE

Australian comedian, Merrick Watts, is bringing his sommelier experience (or lack thereof) to Milwaukee, through a stand-up comedy show paired with six different wines. The audience is encouraged to taste test every wine and learn about the nuances of the craft. Tickets are $65.

7. Acrylic Pouring with Chrishella Roche

FRIDAY FROM 6:30-7:30 P.M. |  VIBEZ CREATIVE 

Get your hands messy at this acrylic pouring workshop. Artist Chrishella Roche will lead the class in fluid art techniques to make a unique piece of art. This class is beginner friendly and tickets are $70 each. 

8. Margarita Cocktail Class

FRIDAY FROM 7-8 P.M. | LA PIÑ

Become the Margarita master at La Piña. Guests will rotate through three stations, each station with a different Margarita. The experts will break down fresh citrus, tequila, ratios and more. The class is capped at 12 people and tickets need to be bought online in advance. 

9. Walk Run Talk

SATURDAY FROM 8 A.M.-4 P.M. | HART PARK 

Faith Factory is hosting Walk Run Talk in honor of suicide prevention. Guests are encouraged to meet new friends, strike up conversations and have fun in the great outdoors. There’s no pressure, just good vibes. Registration is required to participate. 

10. Inaugural Fond du Lac Ave Food Festival

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-7 P.M. | WEST FOND DU LAC AVE

Get ready for the inaugural Fond du Lac Ave Food Fest! Located on the south side of Fond du Lac Ave, guests can enjoy great food from local food trucks, artisan crafts, music and more. The festival is free to attend.

11. Double Dutch Community Party

SATURDAY FROM 1-7 P.M. | DOUBLE DUTCH 

If you loved to jump rope when you were younger, this is a must-see event. Guests can participate in double dutch competitions, listen to live music, eat some good food and play a variety of outdoor games. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. Everything is included in the ticket and each adult will get one alcoholic beverage. 

12. Night Market

SATURDAY FROM 5-9 P.M. | DREXEL TOWN SQUARE 

Enjoy a relaxing night of shopping and eating at the night market in Drexel Town Square. Live music will fill the street while local vendors and food trucks keep you full. This event is free to attend and open to all ages. 

13. Matcha Making with Rishi Tea and Botanicals

SUNDAY FROM 10-11:30 A.M. | BLU MILWAUKEE 

Get to know the intricacies of traditional Japanese matcha while learning how to make the perfect cup. Guests will take home their own matcha bowl and whisk as a reminder to slow down and enjoy the process. Tickets are $95 each and can be purchased online. 

14. Plant Music Bingo

SUNDAY FROM 11:30 A.M.-2:30 P.M. | BRASS MONKEY PUB 

Have a few drinks, play music bingo and win a selection of house plants! Each ticket includes three rounds of music bingo, one free drink, one raffle ticket and a coupon for Kind Oasis. Raffle prizes include rare plants and items from Kind Oasis and all of the bingo prizes are plants. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online.
