Bell’s Brewery is the guest of honor during a chili cookoff Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) at 5:30 p.m. If you think your chili recipe has what it takes to compete against other chili chefs then sign up for the event. Bell’s will be there providing the beverages to wash it all down. For a $5 donation to the Movember Foundation you can eat chili and weigh in on which one is the best.

Make the trip to Bilda’s Friess Lake Pub (4493 Hwy. 167, Hubertus) for a pairing of beers from Broken Bat Brewing and apps. For $30 you can sample five beers and four bites.
Lakefront Brewery is throwing a release party for Noche Mexican Dark Lager, its new winter seasonal, at Art Bar (722 E. Burleigh St.) at 6 p.m.

A Merry Little Night Market is happening at Pilot Project Brewing (1128 N. 9th St.) from 5 to 10 p.m. Expect great food, art and other cool stuff from local creators.

Central Waters Brewing is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 18
Enlightened Brewing (2020 S. Allis St.) has a great collab happening on Saturday. The brewery asked Sweet Smoke BBQ for input on the latest Rough Draught Series. The result was Get Off My Lawn lemongrass saison, Second Summer toasted Palo Santo wood-infused ale and Tasteful Nudes Hazy IPA. From noon to 6 p.m. you can pair them with three Sweet Smoke bites. Cheers to tasty collaborations like this one.
Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) is throwing a party for its club members. This means live music, free appetizers, a free beer pour and a 20% discount if you renew your membership during the shindig. If you’re not a member yet, join the club before Saturday and you can come to the party too.
The Walker’s Point Makers Market & Bar Hop takes place from noon to 5 p.m. Vendors will set up shop at Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.), Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.), MobCraft Beer (505 S. 5th St.), The Laughing Tap (706 S. 5th St.) and Great Lakes Distillery (616 W. Virginia St.).
Torzala Brewing and the Lincoln Warehouse (2018 S. 1st St.) are hosting a Handmade Holiday Marketplace from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Buy unique gifts and grab a beer at Torzala, Component Brewing or New Barons Brewing Co-op, all are tenants of the building.
