14 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: July 5-9

The summer slate of beer events in the Milwaukee area is in full swing.

Wednesday, July 5

The Tap Yard – Waukesha (1927 E. Sunset Dr.) is turning over some of its taps to Third Space Brewing. The list includes something for everyone, including German Chocolate Cake, a tasty barrel-aged imperial stout.

The weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is ideal for summer. A Wheater Shade Of Pale is a refreshing hoppy wheat ale. Presale is available now and it will be on tap on Wednesday. Bottles are available Friday.

Another Paint & Sip event is coming to The Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Rd. Z) from 6 to 8 p.m. For just $30 you get to learn how to paint an amazing beach dawn scene.

Thursday, July 6

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is offering samples from Hinterland Brewing from 4 to 6 p.m.

Friday, July 7

1840 Brewing’s Beer Garden Road Show comes to Mequon Community Park (11345 Cedarburg Rd.) from 4 to 8 p.m.

The Raised Grain Pop-Up Beer Garden is at Nashota Park (County Trunk Highway C). Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Try samples from Enlightened Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Taste beers from SteelTank Brewing and Leinenkugel’s at Discount Liquor Waukesha from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, July 8

If you didn’t get your fill of barbecue over the holiday weekend, The Tap Yard – Brookfield (2925 N Barker Rd.) is hosting BBQ Fest. A half a dozen barbecue food trucks will there.

Sip + Stretch is happening on the patio of City Lights Brewing (2200 W. Mt. Vernon Ave.). Your yoga session costs just $15 and includes a discount on a drink when you’re done.

Hinterland Brewery offers samples from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Discount Liquor Milwaukee.

Enlightened Brewing will be at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, July 9

Yoga In Your Third Space comes to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) at 10:30 a.m. For $23 you get a 75-minute yoga session and a beverage after your workout.

The Plant & Sip Succulent Bar is making a visit to Indeed Brewing Company (530 South 2nd St.) from noon to 2 p.m. The cost is $60 to create a cool living arrangment.
