14 Beer Events Brewing In Milwaukee This Week: Dec. 15-18

Another busy beer week is highlighted by the annual Density Day at Good City Brewing.

Thursday, Dec. 15

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is hosting a holiday party starting at 4 p.m. for member-owners and open to the public at 7 p.m. The event includes a potluck, a holiday market and even a visit by Santa.

Try Belgian ale samples from Chimay at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 7 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 16

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Rot Bier is an aptly titled red lager. 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St. ) is releasing it over the weekend. Presale begins at 9 a.m.

Chimay is offering samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m.

Discount Liquor Waukesha is offering samples from Revolution Brewing from 4 to 6 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 17

It’s Density Day at Good City Brewing (2108 N. Farwell Ave.). They’ll be pouring four variants of the barrel-aged stout as well as a couple of Indigo Series double IPAs. If you’d like a couple of the big beers for home, the public preorder is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Cheers Fest at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) means ugly sweaters, food, shopping and entertainment. Bring a toy for Toys for Tots and you get free stuff, including a beer. The festive fun runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) is the place to go for Kitschmas from 4 to 10 p.m. The block party includes the release of 2022 Wonderworker Tropical Stout and 2021 Barrel-Aged Wonderworker Biere de Garde.

Black Bier Schwarzbier is being released at New Barons Brewing Co-op at 11 a.m.

Head to Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) for a Shred and Stretch session. The workout starts at 10:30 a.m. and includes both a 30-minute high-intensity interval training portion and a 30-minute yoga session. Cost is $10 and includes a free beer when you’re done.

The weekly release at Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) is From Sand + Stone, a hazy IPA.

Try beers from MobCraft at Discount Liquor Milwaukee from noon to 3 p.m.

New Belgium is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 18

Learn how to make a cool holiday wreath and drink beer while doing it at Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.) from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is just $60.
