1. Music on the Beerline

Riverworks MKE’s summer music series closes the season with performances from Latin dance team Salsabrositas Dancers and Latin hip-hop duo Browns Crew. This outdoor, family-friendly event includes food trucks and drinks from Amorphic Beer, and the live show starts at 6 p.m.
2. Bay View Bash
SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.-10 P.M. | KINNICKINNIC AVENUE
This annual neighborhood festival features four stages on one street. Indie rock band Bug Moment, pop-punk band Honey Creek, the Bay View Babes drag show and more entertainment will perform throughout the day, with food, drink and vendors lining Kinnickinnic Avenue. Look out for Central Waters Brewing’s Bash Bräu beer, brewed specially for the bash.

3. Mobtoberfest
SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.- 7 P.M. | MOBCRAFT BREWERY AND TAPROOM
If you’re looking to get into the Oktoberfest spirit a little early, MobCraft’s take on the fall celebration has live music, German grub and, of course, beer. Compete in classic beer-chugging and stein-holding contests, as well as a sausage-sculpting competition.
4. Femme Frontera Filmmaker Showcase
SATURDAY AT 7 P.M. | ORIENTAL THEATRE
The Oriental Theatre will screen short films from Femme Frontera, an El Paso, Texas, organization that highlights women and nonbinary filmmakers. The selections focus on varied, multifaceted stories from border communities, immigrants, women, people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
5. Latin Night at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn
SATURDAY FROM 7-11:30 P.M. | LINNEMAN’S RIVERWEST INN
The third annual Latin edition of the Riverwest bar’s MKE Music Night will support local Latin musicians with performances from Lost Mitoteros, Pulpa de Guayabab, Camino Astral and Death is a Business.
6. Indie Super Show
SATURDAY FROM 9:30 P.M.-12 A.M. | COMPANY BREWING
Catch some Wisconsin sounds when Company Brewing plays host to three of the state’s bands: Milwaukee’s own psych-pop project dak duBois, Oshkosh indie rock band Horace Greene and Madison psych jam band Mossmen.
7. Asana & Art

Stretch your appreciation for the arts as you stretch your body. This free beginner-friendly yoga event run by instructors from YogaSix Milwaukee will be held among artwork at the James May Gallery.
8. Cedarburg Wine and Harvest Fest
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-6 P.M. | DOWNTOWN CEDARBURG
This 49th annual Cedarburg festival will entail arts and crafts from local vendors, live music, and plenty of food and wine. Check out the Cedar Creek Winery grape stomp and the pumpkin regatta to watch contestants paddle across Cedar Creek in giant carved-out pumpkins.
9. Pool Sound
SATURDAY FROM 5-10 P.M. | 3728 N. FRATNEY ST. STUDIO 303
This pop-up shop and art show will have live music from Abe, Barf Lord, Kneafsey, Jack and Jonathan Chacon. It’s at Oshki artist Jimmy Cobb’s studio. Oshki is a Michigan-based apparel brand that creates clothes out of plastic found in the Great Lakes.

10. Awkward Nerd Book Fair
SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-5 P.M. | THE COOPERAGE
Go back in time to your elementary school library! This adult book fair will feature talks and signings from comic artists and sci-fi and fantasy authors, who will sell books, games and collectibles just like the Scholastic book fairs of childhood. But this time, there’ll be themed cocktails and mocktails as you flip through pages.
11. Pop-Up Pottery Market
SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-4 P.M. | MURRAY HILL POTTERY WORKS
The beloved ceramic studio Murray Hill Pottery Works will showcase its members’ creations in a pop-up market for visitors to admire and purchase. The market will also have pottery wheel demonstrations throughout the day.
12. Yo No Soy Guapo Screening
SUNDAY AT 7:30 P.M. | KOSCIUSZKO PARK
This free outdoor screening hosted by Cactus Club will show the documentary film Yo No Soy Guapo, which explores sonidero culture (pop-up DJs with stacks of speakers) in Mexico City and the limits put on the community by their local government as a result of rising gentrification.
13. Whitehall
SUNDAY AT 8 P.M. | THE BACK ROOM @ COLECTIVO
Charleston indie-rock band Whitehall takes the stage at Colectivo’s Back Room. Their dance-y and uplifting energy is preceded by local singer-songwriter Emmett Mulrooney.
14. North Avenue Market Artisan Pop-Up
SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-3 P.M. | NORTH AVENUE MARKET
The everyday food market also becomes an art market this Sunday. Visitors can browse and shop from a wide variety of Milwaukee artisans while enjoying eats and drinks from North Avenue Market’s food hall.
