Two beers are being released at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) this week. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Rotbier is a red lager, and Where Have All the Dry Hops Gone is a New Zealand double IPA. Both will be on tap Wednesday and available in bottles on Friday.
Wednesday is the first of two straight nights that Tess (2499 N. Bartlett Ave.) hosts a Belgian beer dinner. The four-course, five-beer dinners start at 6 p.m. Call Tess at 414-964-8377 to make a reservation.

Thursday, Dec. 7
Bilda’s Friess Lake Pub (4493 Hwy. 167, Hubertus) is pairing Belgian beers with appetizers at 6 p.m.. For just $30 you get five pours from St. Bernardus and other Belgian breweries and four apps.
Beers with the Brewer is happening at Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) from 5 to 7 p.m. Head brewer Connor Heckler will spend the time answering questions and educating attendees about the whole brewing process.
Broken Bat Brewing is releasing Magellan, a porter made with cinnamon and vanilla, appropriately at Magellan’s on Main Street (370 W. Main St., Waukesha) at 5 p.m.
Try samples from Michigan brewery Barrel + Beam at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 8
Try beers from Brasserie d’Achouffe (2 to 5 p.m.) and Revolution Brewing (3 to 5 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee.
Lakefront Brewery is pouring samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 9
Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) celebrates its second birthday. There will be music, food trucks, and beer releases, of course. Floofy Chonks is a triple IPA made with Madagascar vanilla, Double Indemnity is a Phantasm-boosted IPA and Habañero Hazy is an experimental hazy made with roasted habañeros. Amorphic will also be pouring Artemis Orange, an Orange Julius inspired double hard seltzer.
MobCraft Beer (505 S. 5th St.) is releasing Padishah Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout at its annual Stout Fest. Doors open at 11 a.m. There will be beer poking at noon, an ugly sweater contest, and all sorts of dark beers pouring from the taps.
Surly Brewing is offering samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 10
Yoga comes to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.). The 75-minute session begins at 10:30 a.m. and the $23 ticket price includes a post-workout beverage.
