We all love the Milwaukee Art Museum, but now you can explore after hours. The Milwaukee Art Museum (700 N. Art Museum Dr.) hosts the Lakefront Festival of Art After Dark, on Friday, June 21 from 5 to 10 p.m. Admission comes with a Lakefront Festival of Art ticket. Guests will enjoy live music, food carts, a wine garden and artwork by over 180 artists while relaxing under the glow of the museum’s wings.
This Milwaukee summer staple is back. The 2019 Lakefront Festival of Art returns on Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23 beginning at 10 a.m., outside the Milwaukee Art Museum grounds (700 N. Art Museum Dr.). The annual event will include over 180 selected artists to show and sell their work. There will be live music, plenty of children’s activities, food, drinks and more. Purchase tickets online to save $7.
When it’s finally the end of the week, there’s always time to celebrate. Down Under Disco will boogie all night on Friday, June 21 beginning at 7 p.m. at Swing Park (1737 N. Water St.). Dance under the disco ball lights while enjoying beer from MobCraft and Eagle Park, food trucks and a DJ. After the disco party ends, walk to Eagle Park for an after party.
Yes, yes, yes, it’s back. The ever popular 6th Annual Milwaukee Taco Fest returns to Milwaukee on Saturday, June 22 starting at noon at the Summerfest grounds (200 N. Harbor Dr.). Depending on the kind of ticket, attendees will be able to sample different tacos from some of the best local Milwaukee restaurants, enjoy live entertainment and sample tequila and margaritas.

Locust St.) will host Vegan Brews, Brunch and BBQ on Sunday, June 23 from 2 to 7 p.m. Southern Fried Vegan, a California-based company, will bring their soul food to Milwaukee. Some items on the menu include BBQ, Mac N Cheeze, Jambalaya, Battered Beyond Burgers and more.

This year, the 34th annual celebration of all things strawberries returns on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 at Historic Downtown Cedarburg. Phillips Ave.) on Saturday, June 22 starting at 10:30 a.m. A ticket includes samplings of at least 14 Bloody Marys from across Wisconsin. There’s over 30 different organizations competing for the coveted title of best Bloody Mary in Wisconsin.
The country-loving singer returns to Milwaukee as part of her Cry Pretty Tour 360. Carrie Underwood takes center stage at the Fiserv Forum (1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave.) on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. She will perform hits from her new album “Cry Pretty” as well as classics like “Good Girl,” “Blown Away,” “Jesus Take the Wheel” and plenty other songs.
The weekend wouldn’t be complete without a beer festival. The World of Beer Festival returns to Milwaukee on Saturday, June 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd., Glendale). The festival brings over 350 beers from around Wisconsin and all over the world for you to sip. The festival also includes presentations and history on beer, homebrewing, an outdoor bier garden and more.
