11 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: July 15-19

Beer gardens, makers markets and a new beer release are the highlights from a busy summer craft beer week.

Wednesday, July 15

The Sprecher Traveling Beer Garden makes a stop at Doctors Park (1870 E. Fox Ln., Fox Point) until August 2. Hours are 5-9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.

Thursday, July 16

Meat raffles have been popular at breweries this summer. The latest is happening at The Fermentorium (7481 State Rd. 60, Cedarburg) from 6-8 p.m.

Friday, July 17

The second Wauwatosa Historical Society Brews & Blooms of the summer takes place a the Kneeland-Walker House (7406 Hillcrest Dr.) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It includes beer, relaxing in the Victorian gardens and enjoying live music.

Try samples from Component Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave., West Allis) from 3-6 p.m.

Saturday, July 18

Another Brewery Bazaar is happening at Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego). More than 35 local vendors will be at the makers market that runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Riverwest Blueberry Fest takes over Chambers Ave. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) is marking the occasion by releasing This Is My Blueberry Face, a hazy IPA made with a lot of blueberries.

The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series comes to Big Head Brewing (6204 W. State St., Wauwatosa). the casual 5K starts at 11 a.m. and tickets start at $44.

Torzala Brewing is coming to Ellsworth Park (600 E. Ellsworth Ln., Bayside) for the second Saturday in a row for a pop-up beer garden that’s open from 3-8 p.m.

Discount Liquor Milwaukee is offering samples from Revolution Brewing from noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, July 19

Perspective Brewing (7508 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis) hosts a kids market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you buy anything from a young vendor you get a free 5-ounce pour.

Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) is releasing Noon Game, its new super sessionable IPA, with a big party at noon. The first 300 legal drinkers to show up get a free can of the new brew.

Saturday, July 25: The renamed Milwaukee Brew & Spirits Fest (formerly Milwaukee Brewfest) returns to McKinley Park (1750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.) from 2-6:30 p.m. This year, they’re adding spirit sampling to the mix of amazing beers. The idyllic lakefront location remains the same.

Saturday, Aug. 1: The 10th Annual Wisconsin IPA Fest returns to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) and gives you the chance to sample some of the best IPAs that breweries in the Badger State can offer. Tickets start at $50.
