Stout Fest 2019

Put your stomach for stout to the test at MobCraft’s Stout Fest 2019, where ~25 taps will be pouring stout all day alongside anniversary bottle re-releases and “holiday shenanigans.” Admission is free!


Camp Christmas Crawl

Friday 6:00-Midnight, Campsite 131, 131 N. Jackson St.

Take a ride on CAMP Bar’s Camp shuttle for caroling, games, prizes and drinks throughout a day jam-packed with holiday fun. Guests are encouraged to bring a new toy for donation in exchange for an extra drink ticket.


Brew City Crafters Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair

Saturday 10-4 P.M., American Serb Hall, 5101 W. Oklahoma Ave.

It just wouldn’t be a Milwaukee weekend without another great maker’s market teeming with Brew City’s homegrown artists and artisans. In addition to everything you’d expect out of a holiday arts and crafts fair, Brew City Crafters has partnered with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to host a toy and school supply drive at the fair.


Hotel Madrid Gremlins Pop-Up Bar

Saturday and Sunday 5-Midnight, Hotel Madrid, 600 S. 6th St.

It’s Gremlin-mania at the first weekend of Hotel Madrid’s Gremlins Pop-Up Bar, where adorable mogwai and mischievous gremlins have taken over for the holidays as a tribute to the classic ’80s flick. While you’ve got your choice of specialty-themed cocktail in hand, don’t forget to snap a pic with the Baby Yoda mural.


Old World Wisconsin’s Old World Christmas

Saturday and Sunday, 10-4 p.m., W372 S9727 HWY 67, Eagle

This family-friendly event by the Wisconsin Historical Society promises a day of fun and historical immersion as you explore the holiday traditions of old in scenic 1880s Crossroads Village, where you’ll prepare traditional braided holiday bread, take a horse-drawn ride and take plenty of photos with opportunities like Santa’s Victorian Workshop and the largest Yule Goat in North America.


Save The Soldiers Home Fallen Hero Wreath Fundraiser

Buy wreaths online or volunteer Saturday, 2-3 p.m., Wood National Cemetery, Walker Rd. and Juneau Ave.

Help raise funds for the Milwaukee Preservation Alliance’s efforts to restore the Soldiers Home National Historic Landmark by purchasing and/or volunteering to place wreaths in honor of fallen veterans at Wood National Cemetery.


The Office Trivia Bar Crawl – Christmas Special

Friday, 8 p.m. – 1 a.m., Registration 8-9:30 p.m. at Cantina Milwaukee, 1110 N. Old World 3rd St.

You don’t have to be an Oscar-level brainiac to compete with hundreds of crawlers in Dunder Mifflin trivia while enjoying exclusive drink specials at this massive bar crawl. All participants get a free T-shirt!


Brady Street Festivus Run

Saturday, 3 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., Brady St.

This annual one-mile run down Brady Street celebrates the holiday for the rest of us, complete with an evening of time-honored traditions including the airing of grievances and feats of strength around the Festivus pole. Runners must register in advance.


Rescue Gang’s Dog Shelter Holiday Open House

Sunday, 1-7 p.m., Rescue Gang, 4525 W. Burnham St.

Kick back and have some holiday fun with snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and a tour through Rescue Gang’s nonprofit dog shelter, all in the name of raising funds for supply and care of four-legged friends without a home of their own.


Harry Potter Concert Series – The Goblet of Fire

Friday and Saturday 8 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m., Riverside Theater, 116 W. Wisconsin Ave.

Hear the score of the wizarding world brought to life by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, coupled with screened clips from the fourth film in the beloved franchise.
