This sweet, savory treat is made with award-winning bourbon barrel-aged Goose Island Bourbon County Stout mixed in with the batter. The double chocolate chip cookie has dried cherry pieces and dark chocolate chips in it that leave you with hints of cinnamon and cayenne spice. Also, the cookie is topped with smoky bacon pieces sure to provide you with a variety of flavor.

2. Glazy Boy
AVAILABLE AT MILLER LITE SPORTS BAR AND GRILL
Sweet, salty, tart, smoked, spice and more, this item is this fair’s 2021 Sporkies winner! The Glazy Boy is made of two grilled Grebe’s glazed doughnuts. The doughnuts are pressed with two slices of BelGioioso Fontina cheese, brined and slow-smoked pork loin, raspberry whole grain mustard and pickled jalapenos. This is just the sandwich to put some pep in your step or knock you out into a food coma.

3. Cinnamon Roll and Bacon Cheese Curds
AVAILABLE AT SLIM’S LAKEFRONT BREW PUB & EATERY
This snack is qualified for breakfast, lunch or dessert! These squeaky cheese curds are dipped in a beer batter laced with crispy bacon then dipped in flour, cinnamon and powdered sugar. They then are deep fried, dipped in more cinnamon sugar and topped off with cream cheese frosting and bacon pieces.

4. Paradise Po’boy

Oh Boy, this po’boy placed Bronze in the annual Sporkies competition, which just means it will be your third stop when trying the most delicious foods at the Fair. The Po’boy has deep fried coconut shrimp placed on a freshly baked bun in a bed of homemade slaw and covered in lime tartar sauce with kettle chips on the side.

5. Gator Claw On-a-Stick
AVAILABLE AT EXOTIC MEAT GRILL
This reptilian is described as a tasty snack and a souvenir. The grilled alligator arm is sold with the claw still attached. It is served on a stick and with Cajun Ranch Sauce to dip this Exotic Meat Grill specialty.

6. Creepy Crawly Cupcake

Better hold on tight to your sweet treat before it crawls away. The Creepy Crawly Cupcake is every adventurous eater’s dream. It is topped with an edible scorpion and covered with all sorts of insect goodies including Cotton Candy flavored Crickets and Sour Earthworms. To top it off, it is full bug guts, no really, the inside is made up of strawberry filling with ants.

7. Polish Puppies On-a-Stick
AVAILABLE AT SAZ’S TASTE OF WISCONSIN
I wouldn’t go kissing anyone after this dish, although maybe it’s so good you will want to share. These deep-fried hush puppies are filled with Jalapeno Polish, sauteed onions, sauerkraut and cheddar cheese served with a side of buttermilk chive sauce. Lucky for you, you will have remnants of this delicious snack sitting on your breath all day.

8. Peanut Butter Squealer
AVAILABLE AT WAFFLE CHIX
I hope you saved room after breakfast. The Squealer is a maple infused breakfast sausage baked inside a Belgian waffle. It is smothered in peanut butter and topped with bacon.

9. Deep-Fried Wisconsin Fish Fry

2nd place in the Sporkies competition, this entrée represents everything Wisconsinites love…fish fries and deep-fried foods! It is your classic elements of a Wisconsin fish fry put together and deep fried. For this entrée, Atlantic Cod fillets are rolled in caraway rye seasoned WSB Honey Lager Light batter, filled with German coleslaw and french-fries and deep fried. It is served with house made tartar sauce and a slice of lemon.

10. Sorrentina Bites
AVAILABLE AT ALBANESE’S ROADHOUSE
This dish tastes like it came straight from an Italian restaurant. At Albanese’s Roadhouse you can get Ditalini pasta with three Italian cheeses and breaded with homemade breadcrumbs. It is served with a choice of their signature Vodka sauce or their very own marinara. This is a delicious alternative for people who love pasta but may not want to carry a bowl of noodles around the fair.
